Joy A. Fountain, 46, of David City, Nebraska passed away April 16, 2025. Joy was born September 29, 1978 in Lincoln, Nebraska to William R. and Kathleen Masek. Joy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1996. She enrolled in classes at Lincoln School of Commerce and graduated with a degree as a Travel Agent.
She had children, 3 boys and 1 girl. She was a stay at home mom and later was a home health aide. She enjoyed her job and received her CNA. She also was a corporal corrections officer with the Department in York, then transferred to Lincoln for a total of 9 years. Later in life she loved to have porch parties with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Jaryed, Jaymison, Jayson and Justine, sisters: Jennifer (Steve) Miron and Jill Masek, nephews: Jordan and Caleb Masek, niece, Madelyn Miron, step-brothers: Kenneth (Stephanie) Holmes, Matthew Holmes, and Douglas (Sandra) Holmes, parents: William and Lucy Masek, Gary and Kathy Holmes, several aunts, uncles, and friends.
